I'm very impressed with the Pirelli Sottozero 3, after using Nokian and Verdestein tyres during winters and I was a bit worried to go to PIRELLI but they were available at great price and had good reviews. I did not know how they would be on a 245 than my previous 18 vehicles were much narrower 16-inch wheels. Took on a very steep slope after a heavy snow shower one evening. the tyre chewed through and would slip at very high acceleration. No other 2WD vehicle made up the hill. Very quiet on the highway. Excellent in the dry, it is better in the wet, but certainly not real issues. I highly recommend it if you can get them at good price. You can not comment wear yet, but certainly does not seem excessive.
