Avon tyres originate from The United Kingdom. The company's history starts in the end of the 19th century. In 1997 the brand became a part of the American Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. Since 2000 the high quality of Avon tyres allowed them to be provided to the F2000 Championships in the USA. 185/70 R15 Tyres

185/70 R15 tyres are installed in passenger cars (also the classic and antique ones). The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall in a form of a string of signs. The tread width of the tyre is provided by the first number. The number is provided in millimetres. In the case of the 185/70 R15 tyre it is 185 mm. The height of the tyre is designated by the second number (it is a percentage ratio to the tyre's tread width, here 70% out of 185 mm). The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction.
