Riken is a Japanese brand founded in 1917. The company manufactures economy class tyres for passenger cars, SUVs, light commercial vehicles and trucks. The Riken brand has emerged in the awareness of customers worldwide, exporting tyres to foreign markets. In 1997, the company was acquired by Michelin, and has been owned by them ever since.

215/55 R16 Tyres

215/55 R16 tyres are installed in passenger cars. The size of the tyre can be seen on its side. It is presented with the help of strings of numbers and a letter which denotes the type of tyre construction ("R" - radial construction). The first number informs about the tread width of the 215/55 R16 tyre – here it is 215 mm. The second number equals the percentage ratio of the tyre's profile height to its tread width.
