225/50 R16 tyres are designed for dynamic passenger cars. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall in a form of a string of numbers and a letter. The first number informs about the tread width of the tyre. The number is provided in millimetres and in the case of the 225/50 R16 it equals 225 mm. The second number equals the tyre profile's height and its percentage ratio to the tyre's tread width - 50% out of 225 mm).
