Bridgestone Potenza Sport

I switched to the Potenza Sport from the Vredestein Ultrac Satin. The Bridgestone brand tyre certainly has better handling characteristics in terms of cornering grip. Interestingly, the tyre is not at all stiffer as far as comfort is concerned than the Vredestein, which actually floated quite a bit in corners, and unfortunately was hard.... The greatest asset of the Potenza is how it behaves in the entrances to a sharp turn. You can feel the well-designed tread sidewall in such moments, and you have a confident grip. I also have the impression based on steering and the behavior of the car that these tyres are lighter, but I have not weighed them. I describe the handling precision itself as good, although I thought it would be more “sharp”. The Bridgestone is a rather noisy tyre, although it doesn't bother me. In my opinion, it is a good compromise for the street and more demanding, winding paths. The rate of wear I am unable to determine, as I have covered only 3-4 thousand kilometers. Read more Collapse

I definitely recommend it! The tyre is sensational, except maybe for the fast start, here there is a slight problem, but it completely compensates for it with holding in the corners and when braking. In addition, the tyre really quiet (of course, on good pavement) only on poor pavement it begins to be heard. Even crossing the slip limit it does not make any sound. These black discs are amazing! They hold the road like crazy, whether it's pouring rain or the sun is shining. You can drive on them super comfortably and confidently, and any road surface is a piece of cake. They are durable as a rock, so I don't worry about rapid wear. Plus they look super cool on the car. This is not my first set of Bridgestone and certainly not the last. If you want something decent for the summer, then take these without hesitation! I seriously recommend these! Read more Collapse

I was looking for premium tyres for daily driving. On dry pavement, the tyres provide very good grip and handling, even in borderline situations, continue to behave predictably and give a good feel from the road. On wet pavement, the grip is also very good, they cope well with heavy rain on the expressway. Another advantage is the rim protection - it has already saved the wheel from damage twice. I recommend! Tyre very good (sensational) in the dry and reasonably good in the wet - one can feel that at higher speeds it does not quite manage on the road with a lot of water, but we are talking about speeds above 180 km/h and driving on a curve - in other conditions, the tyre is perfect. I highly recommend Bridgestones - tyres at this price are sensational. Of course, they are probably a bit short of Michelin PS 4s, but the price is about 20-30% cheaper, which is a lot. The tyres themselves are characterized by a smaller tread than the competition (about 6.5mm), but it wears much more slowly. Read more Collapse

Decent tyre. Doesn't stand out by any means, but it is predictable, does not lay down in corners (I have not driven much on wet surfaces). A big plus is that the tyre is relatively hard, and with daily driving it repays you with a fair amount of durability while holding up to the road pretty well. Read more Collapse

Great tyre, sticks to the road as if glued. Plus it has a thicker tread than premium competitors, will last longer. I didn't go crazy in the wet, so my opinion isn't based on extensive testing, but I haven't had a case of anything “slipping” so far. Read more Collapse

The tyres are really very good. The only “drawback” is that the tyres are hard which you can feel even despite the pneumatic suspension. For highways the tyre is ideal - quiet and responsive. Read more Collapse
