The secret of the exceptional parameters of the Kormoran Snow model is the construction of its tread. The designers opted for a directional layout of the blocks , particularly noticeable in the central lane. The substantial blocks with an extended structure are separated by wide irregularly shaped perimeter channels. This allows efficient drainage of water and snow from the front of the tyre, protecting against aquaplaning. The characteristic construction also allows you to maintain a high grip regardless of the condition of the road.
The wide outer shoulders allow to drive at a higher speed even on a road covered with snow. The extremely dense system of wavy structured sipes, efficiently cling to the snow coating, maintaining the optimal level of traction . An increased number of edges and grooves smoothly distributes pressure across the entire tread surface, making it easier to grip tight spots on the road. The optimal contact zone with the surface also translates into slower wear and longer life.
