205/65 R17 tyres are installed in executive cars. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall where it is clearly provided in a form of a string of signs. The first number informs about the tyre's tread width. The number is provided in millimetres and in the case of the 205/50 R17 tyre it equals 205 mm. The second number equals the tyre profile's height and its percentage ratio to the tyre's tread width, in this case 65& out of 205 mm. The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction.
