Pirelli is one of those names that everyone associates with cars, sports and tyres. The brand's history goes hand in hand with the history of cars. Since their beginning, Pirelli tyres have accompanied vehicles and their drivers in the toughest conditions — at rallies, at races and during intensive everyday driving. The brand's tyres currently constitute the official equipment of Formula 1 cars.

The fact that Pirelli tyres are associated with the motorsport does not mean that the brand is not fitted on "ordinary" cars. On the contrary! The company has some very interesting products on offer for various types of drivers, be it summer tyres, winter tyres or even all-season tyres. This is evidenced by the many awards received from tests and positive user feedback.

Pirelli tyres can be successfully fitted to vehicles ranging from compact cars to typical sports models. These products are characterised by excellent performance, both in town and on the road, and resistance to wear. Pirelli tyres offer high performance in terms of safety, driving comfort and cost-effectiveness. These reliable tyres are for the discerning driver.

This brand has a lot to offer, including tyres for lorries, motorcycles and agricultural vehicles. These tyres also fall into the premium category.

Interesting facts:

Pirelli was founded by Giovanni Battista Pirelli in 1872, making it one of the oldest tyre manufacturers in the world. It is now considered the fifth largest tyre company. It also includes brands such as Metzeler, Formula, Courier and AGOM.

One of Pirelli's most recognizable initiatives is its famous calendar containing photographs of nude models, which is has published since the 1960s.

In the 1980s, the company invented and marketed low-profile tyres, which have become the most significant innovation since the introduction of the radial tyre.

Pirelli also has an architectural symbol in the centre of Milan — Pirelli Tower, the company's head office, a 127-m skyscraper, a masterpiece of post-war modernism that opened in 1960.

In the 1990s, Pirelli almost merged with Continental, but the prepared merger did not come to fruition.

The Pirelli name was used to sign a limited edition of the first-generation Volkswagen Golf in 1983. The Golf GTI Pirelli model was repeated in 1999 and 2007.

Pirelli has sponsored the Inter Milan football team for many years.

Our customers' opinions on Pirelli tyres:

    Pirelli Powergy

Opinion after approximately 30,000 kilometres in the summer season, tyres replaced with winter ones about a week ago. First and foremost, the tyre is ultra-quiet. 68db does the job. During installation, the balance was almost perfect on each tyre. From the start, there was no wobbling or vibration. As for the driving itself, the car is unbeatable on dry surfaces. Cornering is confident. Very high level of grip. Unfortunately, the problem starts on wet surfaces. Namely, the tyre's ability to disperse water - I experienced aquaplaning at 130 km/h on the motorway during heavy rain. I consider such tyre behaviour unacceptable. Interestingly, as long as the amount of water is small, the grip is See more > excellent and cornering on wet roads is a pleasure. The problem clearly concerns the low water drainage capacity. Unfortunately, I will not be buying this model again. However, the overall very good impression of this brand encourages me to purchase a higher model, which may perform better in terms of water drainage. In addition, I must give it full marks for comfort. Quiet, no vibrations, good comfort on uneven surfaces. Low tyre wear, satisfactory durability. I do not spare my tyres, I drive very dynamically.

    Pirelli P Zero (PZ4)

Pirelli P Zero 255/40 R20 – in a class of its own! Since fitting Pirelli P Zero tyres in size 255/40 R20, my car has taken on a whole new character. These are not just tyres – they are a technological work of art designed for drivers who value precision handling, safety and sporty performance. The biggest advantages: Sensational grip – on both dry and wet surfaces. The car sticks to the road like glue. Sporty character – ideal for dynamic driving, they perform well at higher speeds. Comfort and quietness – despite their sporty profile, the tyres are surprisingly quiet and absorb bumps well. Unique appearance – the aggressive tread and prestigious brand add elegance and character to the See more > car. I have been driving on them for several months now and would not trade them for any others. Pirelli P Zero is the choice for those who do not accept compromises – maximum performance, style and reliability in one.

    Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3

I bought these tyres for my Skoda Octavia III 2.0 TDI 150 HP with the intention of using them all year round. After driving several hundred kilometres in various conditions, from rain to dry asphalt, I am very pleasantly surprised. The tyres absorb bumps very well, and the handling is stable and confident. I haven't noticed any skidding or aquaplaning on wet surfaces. I used to drive on seasonal tyres, but this model offers really great comfort and a feeling of safety regardless of the weather. In addition, they are quiet and do not adversely affect fuel consumption. I recommend them to anyone looking for reliable all-season tyres for a more powerful car. See more >

    Pirelli Cinturato Winter

On this tire, I traveled 11,000 km. I bought it because I was very happy with the summer version of Cinturato, it's the first Pirelli winter product I use. The tire seems to be really quiet, as the producer rightly congratulates. At a speed of 160 km / h, the noise is quite liveable and does not bother at all. It's also very economical for a winter tire. Traction on wet and dry very well. The tire looks very soft (typical of the Cinturato family) which is an advantage, sometimes a disadvantage, if someone does not like this feeling especially with tight turns. I have reservations about the work of the tires on the snow. He usually writes badly. When braking the average force, the See more > ABS is engaged, the tire loses grip. It does not "cut" in the snow despite the impressive symmetrical fir tread. In this respect, it is significantly lower than the GY Ultra Grip model, which I will probably come back to. A tire that is worth being recommended for wintry winters, especially when someone drives mainly on the highway like me. I consider the abrasiveness after traveling 11 000 km with a big plus. Car: Focus HB 150HP.
