  Yokohama BluEarth-Es ES32

  Overall, these are my first ever new tyres :) I test-braked hard from about 60km/h in heavy rainfall and it felt like I was braking on dry pavement, zero slip. I use the weakest Impreza mainly for city centre driving, where I rarely accelerate above 60km/h, and drive at motorway speeds maybe a few times in two years. See more >

  Yokohama Advan Sport V107

  Sensational value for money for 19” tyres. Very good traction and grip in corners, especially when the tyres warm up. It's worse on wet pavement, as the tyres no longer drive as stably. I have ridden on tyres that performed better in the rain. During normal driving pn wet it is still enough. Combustion with no difference to other tyres. Even at very high speeds the car drives well and you can feel confident. See more >

  Tyres after the first tests: on dry surfaces, the grip is really good, the loss of grip is very linear, which allows for predictable movement, the sides of the tyres are hard, which positively affects the handling, but this is felt on unevenness, which I also consider an advantage. I haven't had the chance to ride on the wet surface yet so I won't say anything. See more >
